You can either attack the summit of theLoferer Mountains from Lofer orSt. Martin. The various routes on the Tyrol side also have their charms. Regardless of the route you finally choose, breath-taking panoramas open up as soon as you rise a few meters above the valley. The best marked routes lead to Schmidt-Zabierow-Hütte at a height of 1,966 m above sea-level.
