Tobogganing in Salzburg Saalach Valley

Tobogganing is probably one of the most fun activities around and promises great fun for young and old alike! Countless toboggan runs can be found at four different locations in St. Martin near Lofer, Lofer, Unken and Weissbach near Lofer that lead down to the valley either on roads or natural runs.

We especially recommend the s 2.14 km long Maria Kirchental natural toboggan run in St. Martin. As long as there is sufficient snow, the run is illuminated with romantic torches twice a week.  Walking time: about 1 hour;taxi sleigh available!

You can either rent toboggans from us at Bräuschmied Guesthouse, or from one of the many innkeepers. And because taking a tipple along the way never hurt anyone, lots of cosy inns along the route invite you to linger before making the final descent into the valley for some final fun!
